Has anyone in the UK received their 3rd vaccine as a result of the recent government announcement?
Do you think there might be any wriggle room on the 6 months time for those of us who are immunocompromised? (I have to wait another 6 weeks to get the 3rd jab, would like to have it now, as antibody test was negative after the 2nd jab).
Spoke to my GP yesterday (Friday) and she told me they can't progress because they have yet to receive any relevant information! You read other CLLers have had the 3rd jab but it seems to be another postcode lottery. Media worse than useless because 3rd jab and booster seems to be spoken of as the same thing. Lots of headlines but no real action.
Hello.I went for my flu jab this morning ( my husband is the one with CLL) and I asked about the third covid jab. The doctor said they are imminent and we should be contacted soon.

I spoke to my GP surgery on Thursday. They also are waiting to receive information and have no vaccine!
Some front-line health workers are getting their shots now. Beyond that....?

No idea but I know of two London boroughs that organised them this week. Myself and another CLL patient I know had ours this morning and another friend is having hers next week. But then two other people I know in neighbouring boroughs haven’t heard yet. They were not set up by the usual NHS booking site but by Eventbrite which surprised me. Apparently they are not able to use that !

Still waiting to here any news, I don't hold up much hope of a reaction though given that when i tested for the Birmingham trial it showed negative.
