Hi everyone never posted before, never really needed to, as practically all my questions have mostly been answered in the feeds. A big thank you to all for your contributions.
I was lucky enough to be selected for an Alcalabrutinib trial last August, only one of two in our NHS area. No real side affects apart from a few skin blemishes, and WBC count falling steadily, so quite content.
Unfortunately as we are all aware we are immunosuppressed , we must keep shielding, so little pleasures can be important to us. Here is one of mine:
I am disabled and need to use a mobility scooter and have a small dog so my delight is to take him for his walks suitably attired with a mask etc. I am able to meet other dog owners at a distance and during this time of abundant Lavender I am able to pick a few sprigs and place them inside the mask and enjoy some Lavender scented excursions.
To all take care, don't despair enjoy your simple pleasures
