The webinar will explain what blood products are, how, when and why they are used, how blood products are sourced, prepared and administered.
We will explore the different methods of administration, inclusion criteria and routes to access. During the webinar the expert panel will discuss their experience of using blood products, their limitations, the demands on the care team, and on patients. How do blood products impact on a patient's survival and quality of life?
The objective of this webinar is to aid patients to be more informed and prepared in the event they require transfusions and/or infusions during the management of their condition.
