Richter Transformation - Update

Hi everybody how are you?

I'd like to put you all in my current state, after full remission. As you know, they treated me with R-CHOP and did not transplant me. It was not necessary as no masses were found on my body when I did the pet scan. I was taking ibrutinib when I was diagnosed with Ricther.

I also want to tell you that within Richter's Transformation group on Facebook, there are many of us and there are currently several people in complete remission and no one has died yet. That means the new treatments work.

I also want to report that there are two cases in the group, where after doing the Car-T for CLL, six months later Richter was diagnosed and the Car-T Therapy for CLL had worked. These patients are going to start R-CHOP now and we'll see what happens.

Also say that for Ricther's cases, she is being treated with Car-T therapy and a donor cell transplant. In this way they ensure the success of the results.

I put here the Facebook group, only for people who have Ricther in case they are interested.

A hug to all

I will provide information from Ricther's group, to inform them about the new treatments and how the patients are progressing. There are so few Ricthers that all the information provided is important.

Yes, thank you for asking Toni.

It is my husband who has CLL but he is currently in remission. I try not to take anything for granted so I feel that the work you do is not only extremely important to those with RT, but it is a benefit to us all. We never know when the important work you are involved in may be of use to ourselves or to people we care about on the forum.

I am so grateful for all you efforts! 💖

We all have to help each other. The doctors are there to treat, but it is we who have to support each other. War is not the same if you do it alone as if you have people by your side who help you stay on your feet.
