Hi new on here as my husband has CLL. He is currently watch and wait and care of haematologist in the UK. We are going to ask for a referral to a CLL specialist via the GP. We live in between Birmingham and Worcester, can anyone recommend a CLL specialist nearby? Thanks 😊

I cannot give you a recommendation since I live in the USA, but I’m sure the wonderful people in this forum who can, will give you suggestions. I wish your husband and you the best. Sandra😊

Another excellent CLL specialist is Professor Anna Schuh at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford. I’ve been seeing her for a number of years now as it was quicker for me to travel to Oxford than travel into Birmingham from where I live. I wish you well finding a CLL specialist.
Professors Paul Moss or Guy Pratt are at the Queen Elizabeth Birmingham which may be well positioned if you are between Worcester and Birmingham uhb.nhs.uk/consultant-direc...
Can highly recommend Dr Ben Kennedy (Consultant Haematologist/Honorary Associate Professor) at Leicester Royal Infirmary. Whilst not on your doorstep transport links to Leicester from your area are good. Dr Kennedy and his team have been caring for me for over 19 years now and I’ve received excellent attention throughout. Alison
