2nd Dose of the Astra Zeneca Vaccine and feeling great !

FairweatherSailor profile image

Just as an FYI , I am in the UK and yesterday I had the second dose of the AZ vaccine. I was very pleased to get the vaccine and especially pleased to get it three weeks ahead of the 12 week deadline. Feeling great with no side effects at all from either the first or second doses. If you are offered it my advice is to take it !

In Ontario Canada and have to wait for our 2nd dose. All the news has been so confusing. Thanks for sharing! Stay well!

The problem appears to come after the FIRST dose, and then about 4 days afterwards. There have been NO diagnosis of blood clots after second doses according to the expert interviewed on the Today program.

So as long as the first dose was without signs of any clots the second dose should be safe.

AZ first dose, second dose booked for next week.
