I’ve had the same CG, finished the same treatment mid March and the joint and muscle pain kicked in about 2 weeks after. I could barely stand up straight and trying to use my right arm was agony. I did ask the clinical team if this was a short term side effect but did not get a definite answer. To be brought up at my visit next week. However, pleased to say that things are slowly improving and that regular exercise, although painful at times does help.
So, hopefully just a blip, I’ll know more next week!
Best wishes

Thank you, I am visiting the doctor today
Your experience is to me very valuable to understand what is happening
I don't think they give any importance to de pains, they just worry that the cll is better
All the best
You’ve hit the nail on the head CG, it’s almost as if the treatment box has been ticked and so what’s the problem. All I asked for was a simple answer to a simple question, is it a known side effect or not and if so should it go away in time or is it now a permanent condition. Difficult? I didn’t think so! Let us know how you got on at the docs

Just back from the doctor
He explained that a percentage of patients treated with Gazyva have joint and muscle problems.
He said that normally these reactions get better with time. He explained he had chosen the Leukeran+ Gazyva protocol due to my age (80)
He explained that my results are good and that I should have a reasonable period without treatment in w & w
Next week I finish my sixth and last period of this protocol
Hope this information has some value to you
All the best
