Hej

Does anyone know that if you take Imbruvica you must take a break in connection with influenza vaccination or pneumococcal vaccine?

I have never been told to take a break. I had the flu vaccine last year without stopping the ibrutinib.

The only time I needed to stop was to have a small skin cancer removed. Anything that causes bleeding. Anne uk

I have never been asked to stop ibrutinib for flu or Pneumovax jabs, only pre operations briefly 1 - 2 weeks either side.

I have never been told to stop ibrutinib. Not for flu vaccine or tooth fillings or even for cardiac ablation for afib or for the esophageal bleed it caused for which I was hospitalized for 3 days. 5 plus years, no pauses.

I have been on ibrutinib since 7/2019 (clinical trial EA9161). Six weeks ago, I got the regular flu shot (age 65), and I had NO problems whatsoever.
