Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone has experienced a rash while on Acalabrutinib? If so What treatments were effective?
I developed one in the first weeks which was held at bay by antihistamines at first but recently has caused my hands to swell and form open blisters. It’s very painful.
All help gratefully received.

I use topical steroids like Triamcinolone for my persistent rash
I had blistering rashes (with very minor swelling) on Ibrutinib and similar but milder on Acalabrutinib. I had one or two very minor outbreaks before starting the CLL meds, so clearly they exacerbate an underlying condition. The discomfort was mostly from intense itching, not actual pain.
Tests by a dermatologist found no cause.
I used mostly Benadryl and ice packs and occasionally Aspercreme.
I recently realized the outbreaks were only occurring in May through August.
I just got a referral to a hematologist to review my photos and history to see if he can solve it.
The only suggestion I would have is to get a referral from your oncologist to a dermatologist.
