Sheilding letter - I got one

I received this email see below - then forwarded it to my Dr surgery and they confirmed i should off had a letter and one arrived the next day.

Covid-19

We are aware from feedback from patients that there is confusion over whether they should be shielding and what this means. In addition, many have not received letters indicating that they are in the most vulnerable category and can therefore receive assistance. We are putting pressure on the authorities to have this changed and we are beginning to see results.

The UK CLL Forum (UK NHS CLL Clinicians, researchers and scientists) have discussed the shielding definition issue with patient groups (CLL Support and Leukaemia Care). We have jointly prepared advice which provides detailed guidance on shielding and we hope you will find it useful. Please share this with your GP, Specialist, employer as required to help confirm the need for you to shield.

To be clear, whatever stage of CLL you are, from diagnosis to post treatment, the message is, you should shield.
