Zantac has been recalled. Might need to see gastro doc about changing or stopping it.

I had IBS- it's dx by eliminating other conditions. I assume you had endoscopy/colonoscopy, scans, etc. Then they say you have IBS. I lived on Tagament for a year. Was not on Omeprazole when diagnosed. Think you need further testing and second opinion. 💕

I assume you have had the tests GMa27 suggested. Have you been tested for gluten allergy?

I was just about to say the same thing, gluten allergy/coeliac disease. Also it is now possible to check for lactose intolerance.

why not try gas-x

Hi Shelling-Did your primary doc check for H. Pylori? Also, if my stomach kept bothering me after taking reflux meds, maybe you can consider getting some input from your CLL doctor/hematologist?

I have had H Pylori and was so poorly after numerous tests it finally found after having camera down my throat was treated that was 7yrs ago I’ve been treated twice more for it just as precaution but this is definitely more bowel related I’ve had the camera up that end as well twice but they were never able to complete the procedure because I was in agony

I have similar problems and was diagnosed by Mayo Clinic with bacterial overgrowth in the small intestines caused by WM. Antibiotics cleared it up but still have intermittent problems which are related to anti-mag causing autonomic neuropathy. When it's bad, I take Bentyl along with chewable papaya. Food is my kryptonite😣 Good luck and I hope you get some relief

Hi! 🙋‍♀️ Shelling, I always had a sensitive tummy before I was diagnosed this past late Dec. 2019. I find that Aloe gel the kind you ingest helps coat your tummy. Also Chamomile tea is soothing. 🙋‍♀️ As you probably know pro & pre biotics help and after a meal I take 3 all natural papaya enzyme chewable tablets. Make sure your hydrated with water, I need to drink more too. Maybe, the Laxido is a little too harsh. Hope you are feeling better😇🙋‍♀️. Your friend in Health, Debbie.🙋‍♀️

Sounds like a microbiome issue. In addition to being tested for bacteria, have you been tested for celiac, or gluten intolerance yet not celiac, or leaky gut issues?

I had bloating for years, along with lymphedema swelling in my legs. I attributed it to salt intake and dying cells. Then I had a severe gut reaction to too much fiber last summer, which likely caused leaky gut. I went off all gluten, including oats and quinoa, as well as no added sugar. I was already on a vegan diet. Within 4 weeks, my lymphedema went away, arthritic joints were no longer swollen and stiff, and my stomach was no longer bloated.

While this may not be your problem, it might be worth a try. For me, the results are such an improvement, it is motivation enough to stay on this path. Hope you find an answer that will help you.

Hi Shelling, I take meds for epilepsy, and Naproven and omeprazole. I am in a lot of pain with degenerative disc disease. I was always constipated. The meds had to be changed because I was starting Ibrutinib. Just as I was improving my diet I had diarhea.

I bought dried fruit and nuts. For breakfast I had muesli or other high fibre cereal. Each day I would put a small bit of chopped dried apricots, walnuts, prunes or figs with fresh raspberries. Not all at once. A more natural addition of fibre. You need to drink more water or the fibre has the opposite effect.

Its the meds that affected me. Nerves cause stomach problems too.

Recently I have had pain killing drugs for agonising back pain and now cystitis. I have stomach pain and back to confusion. Im hoping the antibiotics and stool softener tablets help.

I really hope these ideas are a start. Anne uk
