Has anyone found Medical marijuana CBD/THC tincture to be helpful with sleep and anxiety due to watch and wait stage? Injesting anything foreign is a concern with a compromised immune system but the same can be said for Chemo. ?

Yes! I used a CBD oil tincher last night in fact! Not sure I would have slept at all without it! I only use the CBD part, I don’t use the THC part though my husband does.
Next week, I’ll start treatment and my doc doesn’t want me to add anything for at least two months to make sure I am stable before adding “unknowns”.
I use hemp oil tincture instead of the Xanax I was taking at night. It works really great for me.
I also use Xanax for anxiety from time to time. I would love to know what product you are using? Of course, if you don’t like to be specific it would be fine.
Thank you.
CBD oil seemed to help my dog with old dog joints, but did nothing for my insomnia. It does help some. Just don’t smoke anything- big risk of fungal lung infections.
At least your dog 🐕 is feeling well. I appreciate the responses as weigh my options. I’m not a smoker either. Thanks.
I take Cannabis edible, 10 mg, every night. It helps me get to sleep with no side effects in the morning. I highly recommend you try it; also helps with joint pain from taking Imbruvica. Best of luck.
Would you mind sharing with us what exactly you are taking? Maybe a picture would be more helpful.
Greatly appreciated.
Further on your valid concern about ingesting (or breathing in) anything foreign, in addition to the potential fungal contamination MsLockYourPosts mentioned earlier and other possible contaminants, unlike prescription drugs including chemo, the active ingredient dose can vary widely per this post:

Most Cannabis From Dispensaries Used for Sleep, Pain: psychiatryadvisor.com/home/...
The survey results showed that 65 percent of customers reported taking cannabis to relieve pain, and 74 percent reported taking cannabis to promote sleep. Of the participants taking cannabis for pain, the vast majority (80 percent) said that it was very or extremely helpful, with most respondents saying that they reduced or stopped their use of over-the-counter pain medications (82 percent) or opioid analgesics (88 percent). The vast majority (84 percent) of customers reporting taking cannabis for sleep said that it was very or extremely helpful, and similarly, most reported reducing or stopping use of over-the-counter (87 percent) or prescription sleep aids (83 percent).
As Neil pointed out there has been some research but there needs to be a lot more done. Hopefully this will be the case in Canada where it is now legal. Israeli scientists have been researching all aspects of cannabis including potential cures for cancer. As of today most "research" on curative aspects (except for seizures) are anecdotal. I too could tell you about people I know who claim to have eliminated tumours.....but to what end? What I can say is that CBD is anti-inflammatory and THC is analgesic. Furthermore cannabis "experts" claim indiga strains are better for night (sleep and pain) and sativa for day and pain. There is also a claim that edible taken in high concentrates have destroyed tumours. Other than Israeli research this is pure internet speculation related by "testimonials." Use of cannabis (CBD & THC) topically is a different story and can provide pain relief (from my own experience). The bottom line is that ther is not enough science in the form of clinical trials....yet.
It didn't look to be a promising candidate for treating CLL when its activity against CLL cells from over 100 patients was assessed:

Neil: Good article and thanks for posting. I agree it doesn't look promising for treatment for CLL. In my research, sadly. I only came across "testimonials" which have little value. Research is still in its infancy. cjnews.com/news/israel/cann...
Interesting that effectiveness with the Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Mantle Cell Lymphoma appears promising, but it is an aggressive lymphoma, compared to our more chronic lymphoma.
Who knows what’s around the corner. When I was first diagnosed BTK inhibitors were still experimental and CAR T was unheard of. Let’s hope for a cure soon we lost a friend to MM last week so I am trying to be hopeful.
Your feedback is certainly appreciated on this journey. Thanks again
