I have just had my regular 6 week visit to my oncologist/haematologist .My readings have jumped after being stable since last November.
ALC 84. Has been at 69 since last April. Dx 2016 Alc 21 has gradually increased .
However my eGFR has dropped to 44 reference no is > 59. Creatinine is 139.above the reference no. Of 60 -115
Has anyone experienced a similar drop. Doc. Is suggesting kidney biopsy next week. Before deciding on treatments. Has always said FCR but has now changed to BR ? I am 73 and pretty fit. No other major symptoms except fatigue.

I take it you live in the UK? What non-chemo treatments are available depends on where you life, your past treatment history and your access to clinical trials.
The two major categories of non-chemo treatments available outside of clinical trials are CD20 monoclonal antibodies like Rituximab and Gazyva and inhibitor/small molecule treatments like Ibrutinib, Idelalisib and Venetoclax.
I presume he will do those tests next week my GP alerted me to my high Creatinine levels last year around 110-120 levels and my eGFR levels around mid 50's. My bloods are monitored each 4-6 weeks.
So the drop to 44 was a surprise.I did note a reading of 46 in 2017.
It’s good that you are being monitored, but remember that counts can bounce sometimes for no reason or because of lab error. Look for your overall patterns. It sounds like your doctors are doing that.
I don’t know whether you have missed my two PMS requesting that you lock the original post in this thread for the sake of my privacy. I included more information than I want public, as I felt that the information would be helpful to you, given that you didn’t have much time before your biopsy. If you want the post to remain public, I will simply delete my answer.
