Brightonlady, have you been diagnosed with cll?

Those of us with cll get regular blood work. One sign of advancing cll is when our red blood cell counts begin to fall. Your hemoglobin, hematocrit and red blood cell counts are all low, outside of the normal range. I am no doctor and you should consult with your doctor about these numbers. They do not appear to me to be unusually low for someone with cll, but if you have been tired and feeling anemic, these numbers would explain that.

There are other causes for our red blood cell counts to fall than cll, again you need to talk to your doctor about that.

If you do have cll, these numbers, if they are part of a downward trend you have had for a while, suggest you could be nearing time to treat. Hemoglobin falling below ten is one of the considerations. Most people who treat, particularly for the first time, see their numbers return to the normal or near normal range. jeff

Brightonlady, Do you have CLL? Please let us know

You need to speak to your Dr about your results as these few cannot be interpreted with any confidence.

Your Dr will have the other results (MCV etc) and know about your clinical situation. They will also order any other tests that are needed.

Please go back and see your Dr with your results.

This group is for people with CLL and, I'm sorry, but we cannot help you.

In view of this I'm now going to turn off replies to this post in case you get inappropriate advice

Best wishes
