I failed to get on the clinical trial because of impaired kidney function. Creat. 83. Now I’m offered standard treatment of BR as I’m 70 yrs. my bloods are stable at WBC 80; RBC 3.93; HB 11.3 ( was 9.5 but taking iron supplement) HT 34; Lymph’s 69.5; Plates 163; LDH 217.
Don’t know my deletions and mutations but have had FISH and BMB tests. Cytogenetics showed no evidence of 13q, 14r or 11q, 22q, 23 del. BMB infiltration 90%. Don’t know if that’s good or bad. Have had 5 antibiotics this year for infections. Lumps around neck much bigger. My question is can anyone advise me if I would feel an improvement after BR treatment. Some days I feel good, yet this year I feel a lot weaker, last year I had quite a lot more energy.
I was diagnosed in 2012 , w & w ever since. What do I do, can anyone speaking from experience of BR treatment help me decide or give me some advise. I sing in two choirs and am mixing with a lot of bugs I also like to swim in the pool a few days a week.

Please bear in mind that we are all different & react differently to treatment. Please feel free to browse & I hope it is of help to you. Regards.
