REMISSION !!!!!!!

my husband has been on Ibrutinib for three years and one week, during that time he has been off and on the driug several times due to surgery/clinical procedures. He has found the side effects difficult at times, however, yesterday in a clinic visit after normal bloods being taken, he is declared as being in remission. The haematologist also pointed out that he should get all his vaccinations updated as he is still immuno suppressant . We are so grateful to Harrogate Hospital for putting his name forward as a suitable patient and indeed to the drug company for funding this amazing treatment. hazel walker

Wonderful news Hazel. I remember how your husband went through some extremely difficult complications with his illness earlier, so it's specially good to hear he's doing well now.

Thanks so much for sharing,

Wishing you both all the best for the future.

Hazel- that is incredible- congratulations!!! What does that mean as far as treatment? Does your husband still take the imbruvica or at a reduced dose or stop altogether?

Congratulations! This is fantastic news and give those of us that are struggling with IB sidefx to carry on. thanks for the encouraging news. -bill
