Has anyone experienced recurring brain hematomas with their CLL and if so what are you trying to do to prevent them?

Oh my goodness Paolob, that sounds a bit scary.
I'm unsure how you can prevent them as I don't know how they occur, do you have any more information.
Hopefully you're discussing this with your medical team.
Writing for my husband who is in ICU after three craniotomies in the last 10 days so yes we are getting great care but it has been confirmed that the CLL is the driving force. Thanks for your thoughts.
Oh gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that.
Glad to hear he's getting great care but I'm sure you're still very concerned for him. Regarding the haematomas, his medical team will be able to offer the best advice specific to your husband's situation.
Was this the first that you knew of his CLL or has he had the diagnosis for some time?
Everyone reading this will be hoping your husband makes a good and speedy recovery. Please let us know how he is, as and when you're able to. He'll be in our thoughts and prayers.
Take care

I'm on ibrutinib & coumadin which are a bad combination for subdural hematomas but so far, I've done fine for 3 years. My INR target range is 1.5 to 2.5 and my INR has been very stable. If your husband is on ibrutinib, the drs need to review the side-effects.
Praying for your husbands recovery.
