Spacedoc are the statin sceptics. They are interesting and entertaining and you definitely know what side of the fence they are on!
Spacdoc is a good site giving lots of useful information. Dr. Duane Graveline wrote his book "Lipitor - Thief of Memory" from his own experiences after taking this statin. I have read the book and found it very informative.
Guess you have a choice to make - take statins and reduce the risk of atheroma but weigh up the possible side effects, or don't take them and have an increased risk of arterial blockage. Ho hum, guess it's the old risk-benefit ratio again bearing in mind familial characteristics and previous medical history. For me, I'll take the statins as one stent is plenty!
