Yes, I’m taking Repatha every two weeks probably for close to two years. No side effects. My last blood test showed high LDL and high total cholesterol. My guess is because I got sick and was unable to exercise for over 3 months. Before this episode, my results were within normal range on Repatha. I’m back to exercising so I’ll see what my next cholesterol results are. You have to fail statins before you’re a candidate for Repatha.
Thanks for you info, reassuring as I’ve read a lot of negativity and unpleasant side affects. I have tried all the statins with unbearable side affects , my Consultant has recommended Repatha and local CCG agreed for me to have it, I’m lucky, if it works and no side affects.
Taking Repatha for a couple of years now. Statin intolerant and it took awhile for the insurance company to approve paying for my prescription. No side effects and it works pretty well. LDL in the 70s and I haven't been exercising for awhile due to Lyme disease but as I start again that should bring it down even further.
I’m statin intolerant, tried them all! Now Repatha is a possible option without the nasty side affects🤞I am a little hesitant as I don’t want any side affects but won’t know til I try. Thanks for info.
