D day is here!

after a year of enduring this tumour, D Day is here! Surgery is just hours away.

feeling good. After being left quite ill after a failed iron infusion, but made better by one which worked with a blood transfusion, feeling good.

Thats not to say that there arent butterflies, of course there are. But had a good day yesterday, at Brisyol zoo watching the bears. Then a great roast lunch -and a moderate drop of guiness. Just what i needed to do to relax and chill out, and possibly just the prep i needed.

Still possibility exists that things may not go as planned, need another transfusion first. But this is as close as weve got in a year.

Update to follow in a few days.

best wishes

CB
