Has anyone used anything like this for scars on their face? I've just acquired one after some surgery to remove a minor skin cancer, so looking for advice. :)

Hi, I have used it and thought it was ok and helped with the flattening, I also would massage my scars with rosehip oils which really helped me. I also use a vitamin c serum and take lots of vitamins for the skin. I can definitely see improvement.

I use a scarsil - silicone gel for the face. Works really well and flattens and softens scars nicely

I use remescar stick. Its ok. Softens an moisturizes The scar to make it look smoother. Regarding The long term results I do not know yet. I also believe in using a good silicone based primer to smooth The skin when wearing makeup or on its own. I can recommend The one from Beautyblender. It can be built up in layers abit if needed and has a slight tint which can reduce The appearance redness. Worth a try if you are interested.

I have used them, I prefer to use lotions and serums. Also is good to massage the scar every night. The best thing I’ve found for scars is to get a steroid injection, it helps a lot. You will probably have to see a dermatologist to get the shot though.
