Hi Em, welcome to the Changing Faces community and thanks for posting. Great idea inviting people for a chat especially coming from you as a member (rather than from the administrators). I wonder if it would help if you actually started the conversation with a something specific? You said it can be about anything, so how about you start the conversation with something of interest to you that you might like to chat about? It sounds like life has been quite difficult for you since childhood, so you probably have a lot of positive and negative experiences to draw from. Or maybe you don't even want to chat about anything to do with your condition? Totally up to you. We love having you here.

I like to draw and play open world games on my xbox

I make jewelry. Handmade cards. I sometimes sketch. Learn new things. Read tons. Meditate. My creativity has saved me. When I'm feeling low, lonely, misunderstood I take that energy and invest it into something worthwhile.

Do you ever share your drawings with anyone? Would you feel comfortable to do that here?

Omg I love your style!! Your work is awesome, are there any famous artists you are inspired by? Your art kind of reminds me of Joseph Turner's.. if you aren't familiar with him, here is some more info you might find interesting. britannica.com/biography/J-...

Your and his color palette, subject matter and artistic mediums are the same. He has a pretty interesting life story too.. historically famous artists remind me that we don't have to be extroverted or super social to accomplish great things. We don't need "likes" or followers to prove that we have talent or to make an impact on others. We just have to take what we are good at and give it our best! 🙌

I totally agree, thank you so much for the positive messages. No I have not heard of Joseph Turner but I'll definietly give his work a look. As for artists who've inspired me, I can't really think of any.
