Hi debster. Sorry to hear you have so many conditions to deal with. Is it help for the iron overload (and effect this might have on your liver health) that you are asking?

Hi debster. The liver sits on the right side of your body, so hopefully your left sided pain isnt related to that.

I know some people can manage their iron overload by educating themselves about the correct diet. Things like what foods to avoid, or what foods can 'block' the absorption of iron if eaten with others. Also the difference between heme and non heme foods. Have you had any help or advice in the past about iron in your diet?

Some people need regular blood draws to control haemochromatosis which is the medical term for iron overload. Have you had this as a diagnosis?

hi

not yet, i had to get the coeliac redone as the results got lost and its been two months now and most if what i have leared has veen on sites like these.

i know the next step most probably will be a biopsy and my doctor confired this at my last visit, shes also want my ferritin redone in four weeks.

i am however worried about the effects of having both conditions!!!
