Dilated portal vein 22MM referred to Vascular surgery with no explanation ?? Any ideas ??

I was told back in March I have a 22MM dilated portal vein, then had a ct scan, I haven’t had any results but been referred to a vascular surgeon next week? No explanation as to why ??

I do however know my liver is meant to look ok and the blood flows fine, but nothing about how to treat the dilation of the vein. They did however report have reported a 8 mm kidney stone and two 6mm nodules in my Lung and partial collapse, I’m so confused why I’m seeing a surgeon and the symptoms are making me so unwelll!

Does anyone have any advice on portal vein and seeing a vascular surgeon, I’d like to go into an appointment witb a small amount of awareness if nothing else. Thsnks for listening AGAIN🤦‍♀️🤣
