severe pain liver cyst and mild fatty liver found on ultrasound last week

Some background :

Grade 1Hiatal hernia diagnosed 2023 caused by pregnancy in the same year.

Started throwing up blood, pain under right ribs , right shoulder and back, no appetite December 2024

Admission to hospital for 2 days

Gastroscopy showed lining of stomach damaged by bile from previously diagnosed hiatal hernia

3 oesophageal biopsies taken .

Sent home with no follow up .

Biopsies came back clear

Pain and nausea never went away

Went to the doctor January 2025

Urgent bloods and urgent ultrasound.

Suspected gallstones but none seen on ultrasound

Ultrasound shows mild fatty liver and 13mm liver cyst

GP not interested and said that finding the cyst and fatty liver is “incidental and not necessary the cause” despite me telling the sonographer during the scan where the pain was.

Surely that’s not a coincidence?

GP has arranged Fib4 blood tests to see if there’s scarring to the liver for February 2025- 2 weeks time.

I constantly feel unwell - right pain under ribs and shoulder, nauseous and losing weight without trying - 7Ib this week . The pain and nausea never go away.

Has anyone else experienced this?
