just wondering if any cirrhosis patients suffered from low sodium and high iron levels.
Are these levels really bad news for mortality.

My husband had extremely high iron levels - needed venesections to combat this but these were stopped when his haemoglobin became too low. Haemochromatosis is among causes of death on his certificate.
I guess the answer is, it depends on how high and whether venesection or another therapy can reduce them. Your medical team will clarify this for you.
I went for a medical recently. Everything ok but my sodium was low. The Doctor on the phone asked a load of questions when she told me about results. I said I’d been drinking loads of water leading up to the medical and she said, that’s probably the reason then
They kept trying to get me back to check it again, but haven’t bothered yet. They’re a private company so we’re probably pushing it to make money.
Have you just had an MOT then? Any symptoms?
