been on TP list for 9 months now got call Wednesday morning from them nwent straight in had it done Thursday morning was awake 9 o’clock drink water only a bit of slight pain in my chair next day back on ward tonight is was so worried befi m knore hand so any one waiting for one there’s no need I feel good thanks for everyones story on this site made me give up drink in the first day thank you it’s been a long journey and I made It

Congratulations on your transplant, now take it easy, it generally takes a year to recover from transplant surgery, don't try to rush your recovery however well you feel it it can cause problems. Drink lots of water to flush the toxic drugs through your kidneys to protect them. Here's to an uncomplicated recovery. I'm 6 years post, just trying to stop you getting kidney problems and hernias.

Thanks just looking ahead slowly ahead all the hard work is done no more worry about next belt in hospitals waiting for that call was hard just plenty of holidays now the way it was I been so lucky to have one I will treasure it
