my liver enzymes have now gone into the normal range after going back to the levothyroxine brand accord from TEVA ! Seems it was changing over to another brand that caused the ALT to rise . Very strange .

Teva brand of Levo is well known for causing all sorts of issues, ask your GP to specify Accord on your scripts.

Thankyou I have already done that . Yes I have heard it can cause issues . I’m just glad I found out what was causing the raised enzymes!

Hi! Thanks for posting this, as I had no idea that the Teva brand could cause problems. I'll keep an eye on that going forward! Pleased to hear that your liver enzymes are back to normal!

thank you for posting this. I thought I was having an AIH flare up because I was more tired and my levels have gone up. Could be the Thyroxine - I’ll check which brand I’m on.
