Recently I have got my fibroscan result which is 14.2 kpa. After this I moved to another hospital and have LFT and ultrasound. as per Ultrasound report liver is mild fatty. Doctor said fibroscan test may be wrong. I am confused.

Fibroscan vs Ultrasound
Ultrasounds look at liver structure while FibroScans measure liver stiffness. An ultrasound can miss fibrosis and cirrhosis. Your FibroScan score suggests that your liver has significant fibrosis & may even be cirrhotic. To assume that all you have is mild fatty liver on the basis of your ultrasound and that your FibroScan score is wrong would too great a risk to take. I'd request a referral to a specialist for further evaluation & monitoring. The specialist could order more tests to determine the true state of your liver.
If I had results like yours I'd take no chances & do all I could to look after my liver. I'd give up alcohol for good & I'd avoid drugs unless prescribed & even then I'd only take them if absolutely necessary. If overweight I'd gradually lose weight with the goal of getting my body mass index into the normal range (preferably towards the bottom of the normal range). I'd eat a healthy diet low in saturated fats & not too many carbs and I'd exercise regularly even if it's only walking daily.
If the FibroScan result is accurate you need to do all you can to protect your liver. After living clean for a year I'd request another FibroScan & hope that the score would be significantly lower. Doing everything right from here on to look after your liver could save you much suffering in the future.
The Fibroscan result is very high, I’d personally ask for a biopsy if it’s not already been offered. My abdo ultrasound showed fatty liver and my Fibroscan is showing moderate/severe Fibrosis. I’m waiting for a biopsy so with the various results they will be able to gauge exactly how damaged my liver is.
Hi
When my 1 yr post transplant ultrasound came back suggesting my liver wasn’t in great shape myspecialist gave me a fibroscan. He said he found them more accurate and was happy with mine.
Good luck

My FibroScan that I had on the 15th Feb this year was 25.3 so don’t worry too much about 14.2, yes it’s fairly high but It can be a lot worse still. I’ve since had a liver biopsy from the results of my FibroScan and have now been put on PROGRAF along with My other meds’ to help. Yes FibroScan’s can be wrong but the biopsy, as NETTY18 also suggested, could give a far more accurate result of what’s going on inside. You haven’t said but have you been diagnosed with a specific liver disease or not yet? If there’s a way of posting pics please let me know as I took a picture of the FibroScan results scale which varies depending on what type of liver disease you have.
All the very best in getting to the bottom of it & NEVER be afraid to ask for a second opinion if you feel uneasy about the consultant you’re seeing. If you’re not a million miles from London, Kings college hospital is a leading hospital for liver care & where I go myself now and I feel the 1.5 - 2 hr journey each way is well worth it!
I don't have any liver disease. I used to have mild pains in my abdomen. So doctor suggested me ultrasound in which fatty liver is diagonosed. Then after about 2 years i found little blood in my stools. I went to doctor and he performed fibro scan which reading was 14.2 kpa.
I moved to Medanta Hopital, New Delhi for better consultation where after seeing ultra sound and LFT tests doctor suggested that there is no problem with your liver. Fibro scan results may be not accurate. As per LFT test tryglyceride levels are high so doctor prescribed medicines for lowering cholesterol.
