Depends on severity and cause of needing a transplant. If an inpatient it’s much faster. E.g. if alcohol related you need to be sober for 6 months before they look to evaluate, although the ball can get rolling in that direct if it’s deemed a path forwards before then
have you been referred? Do you have a transplant coordinator assigned to you that you could contact? My partner (condition currently stable) was seen quickly by the Royal Free once it was decided he should go through assessment - a matter of a few weeks
I don’t know but once you do get under the care of QE there service is second to none. I had a MRI and get telephone consultations every 6 months had one recently and have my next one for March next year already. All the best
I'm under the QE team . I was activated on the waiting list recently.Last year I was turned down and l think that was for the best because of the emotions you have to work through are tough.
They are fantastic, it's actually a good day out for my appointments!!
They've a way of making it seem normal. Good luck.x may bump into each other 😷
Agree with you, lot of emotions and things you want to get sorted before transplant!
I didn't get onto the list the first assessment because I told them I had drunk half s can of g&t ( waiting in line for the check out I was tempted by the Rhubarb and ginger flavour) I had to confess because I am such a bad liar and frankly I knew I hadn't taken it all in.
I'm on it now ☺️ eeekkk
