I have cirrhosis of the lever can anyone recommend company that understand this symptom I'm class A Childs which I find no one understands.

I also have type 2 and AF but these conditions were no problems in getting reasonable cover.

Thanks,

I found no one would insure me through comparison sites. Ended up finding staysure who did an annual policy but I paid over the odds compared to someone without liver disease. Something like £300 but more than worth it when considering the risk of getting ill abroad. Probably much cheaper with them for single trips..

A Revolut card (Premium) includes health insurance worldwide with no questions asked on application.

It does not cover any existing health conditions. But then most health insurance doesn’t.

Might be worth looking in to?

I think they mean travel insurance that covers medical bills. It is normal for them to cover existing conditions but some illnesses raise the premiums more due to risk. Health insurance is very different and usually does not cover pre-existing conditions

I use Staysure. As I’m fortunate enough to take regular holidays I pay for an annual policy & spread the cost by monthly payments of £41. It’s worth it for peace of mind.

There are so many factors involved if you have a serious condition that you have to shop around. Be sure you check the exclusions and repatriation situation in case you have a serious issue whilst abroad. If you're planning more than one trip abroad consider multi-trip cover.

I use Avanti. They are competitive. The cirrhosis is not too expensive to cover…it if you have varices that the cost goes up.
