Photos and jaundice eyes- all members please read

0 Replies

Dear all,

Admin have noticed more posts asking for interpretation of photos of members eyes to see if they are jaundice.

Whilst we do appreciate that people are worried about jaundice, can we remind all members that this is against our community rules- see pinned post.

Photographs are very difficult to clearly see, and no one on the forum is medically qualified to assess for jaundice.

We would suggest that you should always see your own medical doctors for a complete physical examination and discussion of symptoms.

Or alternatively, if you are very concerned and your skin or the whites of your eyes look yellow or you may also have itchy skin, darker pee and paler poo than usual- call NHS 111 immediately.

More details can be seen in this NHS link;

Many thanks.
