Hi Everyone

You may have noticed that I've not been on here much lately and I see we have lots of new members which is lovely for BLT admin and for our existing members who are here to help and advise πŸ‘

Well for those who know me and don't keep in touch via my whatsapp or Facebook here's my update!

The virus I had in January causing the high temp of 105 followed by a chest infection and huskie voice led me to a recent chest x ray, camera up nose and down my throat by ENT consultant just only 4 days after seeing GP which I must say scared me a little with Covid test being negative. I'm now to under go Speech Therapy to strengthen my vocal muscels caused by the unknown virusπŸ˜…

After my cycling accident in March which took me two months to recover from I had a further accident in the bathroom! My bath mat took a flying slide whilst getting out of the shower causing my left knee still in the shower to get smashed against the frame tearing my collatural ligiment and fracturing my fibula bone in my leg which has taken almost 12 weeks to recover from! These πŸ‘ΉπŸ‘Ήcome to mind as most of you know I'm an active person! I'm glad to announce this is my first week back at the gymπŸ˜…

Well its almost 3 years years since being diagnosed with an unknown autoimmune disease which my hepatologiest has informed my chorestrol consultant that they suspect two things are going on in my system as I'm still having flare ups which I keep fighting and smiling about as I won't let the wee buggers beat me ! It now seems my chorestrol shoots up at the same time as my GGT and other bloods do so statins are not required 😊

Over the last 8 weeks I've undergone more tests every two weeks including a different blood test Wednesday for overian cancer which I really don't believe is going on but my GP wants to check!

I'm also now to undergo an operation for an existing prolapsed bladder which I've had for over 5 years which I'm truly not happy about as I won't be able to drive or exercise between 6 to 12 weeks which most of you know this mad caring lassie loves to do! πŸ˜„.

Anyway life must go on and so will my 6.30am morning cycling classes at the gym until I'm dragged away screaming on a hospital trolley bed 🀣🀣🀣.

Well dear friends new and old take care and if you want to reply please do as I'd love to know how your all keeping !'

Loads of love from your pain in the butt who's still as mad as a hatter as I believe it keeps you young ! πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Wow, you've really been through the mill! And I don't know how you manage to stay so positive - I'm sure I wouldn't sound that upbeat if it had been me being poked and prodded every week! Here's hoping things settle down soon and that your op goes well xx

Hi Kyria

Thank you for your lovely message!

I can absolutely say its all about keeping focused when your constantly being knocked off track which I call mind over matter comes to mind! Its also helps having lots of amazing friends who support me and like wise who I think of as my extended family .

Oh well I must leave you now as I'm about to go and cycle another daily 13 miles in the gym.....

Have a wonderful Sunday and hopefully its a lovely one with lots of things to make you smile ! ☺

Love Trish x
