Hello everyone on HU, I know you may all be fed up hearing about my re-birth.
On the 30th March 2019.
However, would it please be ok if I can now say a few words?
Firstly, thank you Richard, who played the part of my interpreter. I had next to no signal in the hospital I could not get Wi-fi it was so frustrating.
Had my phone with me, but sadly nothing. Hit and miss. So, I sincerely apologise for not replying to even one message of support it was because I could not.
Most importantly whilst I feel lucky and thankful and all of which some of you have experience of. I wanted to share something else.
THIS SITE WORKS !!!
It does what it says on the tin, each and everyone of you, way too many for me to mention by name each one, You all contribute in all liver issues. Love and support.
I know you that most of you know that I was in a dark place when I found the site.
I was so lucky to find like minded people who understood everything. Nothing was too much trouble. You all supported me, made me smile.
I truly made a new family it was my HU liver family all of my own. I had liver sisters and brothers all over. Who look out for each other. You are all so AWESOME !!
Each and every set back you were there, not just for me, for everyone, on the site. Each and every celebration again you were there. Each and every sadness for some, you were there.
So, May I please stand before you now and applaud each of you. Yes, everyone of you. You are my hero’s.
The site is fabulous,
When New people come they have no clue of the amount of support and love they will benefit from. It is immense.
So just for now I am saying nothing about me, more about YOU.
Thank you all, for getting me personally, through this.
I hope you all never stop the gift you give to everyone else. Unequivocal love and support!

Thank you Paul, and may I say welcome to the site. I truly meant every word. The gifts that people give on this site I have never in my life experienced before. I wish you well on your journey Paul. You are for sure in good hands on this site. Jaycee
Lovely words Jaycee. All the very best for a wonderful healthy future for you.
This was such an uplifting post to read and I really wish you well on your new journey going forward. It is encouraging to read such a positive post and I do hope that you get relief from the pain soon and some well deserved sleep. All the very best
Every step you have taken with your operation and recovery has helped everyone on here too. You’ve given us, your liver family the confidence that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Your a shining example of a positive outcome for horrible liver disease.
You've made me cry jaycee. I'm so, so happy for you and wish you a long, healthy, happy future. 💓 I agree wholeheartedly with you about the lovely, helpful and caring people on this site. Xx
Thank you, it was my intention to stand and acknowledge that all of you make this work. I am sure you know that when you are going through this it is scary and dark and fearful. You all make that change! You hold out a life raft to those in need, I have said always since joining that it makes no difference how we got in the boat. We are all in this together. Without each and everyone of you it could and would not work. So, yes my journey is but a small part. When you consider how many people you help on a daily basis. I admire you all. All done in the face of adversities of your own to deal with. My hero’s. Jaycee
