Any tips on dealing with toenail fungus? I am post transport and sort of remember that I am not able to take oral anti fungal medication and I've had this problem for years. I've tried various over the counter topical treatments which have never worked and just end up costing a fortune and also exhausted every old wives tale from bleach to vicks vapour rub to no avail..... please help 🀞

Funky. I got the T-shirt fail. After spending a fair sum my GP covered my last Amorolfine just another generic of my previous branded purchase.

Lazer treatment Β£400 a toe X 3 treatments is a bit sore on the wallet.

I got a stronger pair of pliers. πŸ™„

Curanail ! Yes pricey but you apply it and let your nail grow out. Can take up to a year for the base to reach the tip but definately works....you can see a brand new healthy nail growing up the nailbed

Sometimes we put a foot innit.

Our local Chinese is called Toto, but they haven't nailed the market. πŸ™„

Check with your medical team, they should be able to prescribe you an antifungus that you can take. Your t/p co-ordinators could get you the information you need via a phonecall.

Just be extra careful. My husband was prescribed antifungal tablets by the transplant team. It sent my husband in to acute renal failure and he was admitted with a very high potassium which caused chest pain. A terrifying experience.
