Thanks to all who wished me the best with my dad.

He sent me a lovely gift saying "life's too short, let's be friends".

I know it took a lot for him and it was a wonderful surprise.

I think it very natural to be upset to be honest...I get upset when I fall out with my daughter for even a few days so I’m not surprised you do after all that time....

I'm ok thanks. It's half term, so trying to plan to entertain my son. We had a week away in Cornwall which was fab. My eldest is at Uni and broke up with his girlfriend last night. I want to be there to give him a big cuddle and make him all his favourite food!!

Ah, I know that feeling so well ! When my daughter was at uni in Derby I was always shooting up to give her cuddles, food parcels and a pressure cooker full of mums homemade chicken soup when she was feeling down or ill!

Do hope your sons going to be ok as young love is so painful which you never seem to forget but we all pull through.... ! Give him a huge hug ❤

Oh yes! I remember chicken soup when ill at Uni - actually it was a Poly but hey ho - and it was made by Heinsey’s mum and put in a tin specially for me.... Heinsey’s mum was prolific.
