Moderatos and admin I'm not seeking health advice in asking the following question.
Hello all, I sometimes get a little confused re blood numbers? For example my liver clinic always gives my blood numbers in single or double figures. When then checking these and to compare against, let's say, "normal" blood counts for a particular blood test they always seem to come up in triple numbers? Any views on this?

You can only compare your figures with the given 'normal' ranges for your lab. Each lab measure in different units and hence why the BLT ask folks not to post test results as normal ranges differ from lab to lab/hospital to hospital. If you get a print out for your bloods it should show your result and alongside it what the range is min-max for your lab. Sometimes they will be noted as High or Low too.
