Hi all from the wonderful countess of Chester.i was in two minds wether to write a post but as I’m sat in a hospital bed twiddling my thumbs again I decided to.This is my third stay now roughly a week each time in three months since TP back in late February all for the same reason it being my kidney results have been slowly getting worse.so I’m expecting a few litres of fluids then sent home only to be repeated again in the not to distant future.as I visit the QE each week I’m always full of optimism that I’ll get through the coming week without a coordinator ringing in the evening telling me could you get yourself off to A and E ASAP.im told that the reason for the high readings is either the medication we are all on or the diarrhoea that I’ve had for a week.although the readings weren’t great prior to me having diarrhoea or this urinary tract infection that three courses of antibiotics can’t seem to shift.but as I used to write on the assessment booklets we had to fill in.To the amusement of my better half. I’m still HAPPY.😬lol

Thank you Trishi but the last time I looked I certainly wasn’t a lady.lol and don’t behave like a lady either.but thank you it’s having a positive attitude that got me through cirrhosis plus my partner obviously. Now post TP whatever I’m struggling with is a walk in the park.paul x. Ps.thanks for the hug x

Whoops Popel ! I think my afternoon bike ride has fried my brains! Sorry !

Hopefully you can find the funny side of it! My second excuse for this silly hilarious error, I'm putting down to reading an earlier female written note.

Again I do hope it made you chuckle !

I'm guessing PiloMilo or Alfredthegreat will have something to say on my error too! 😣😣

Take care my friend

Love Trish

Oh brother! I was going to ask after I saw Trishs messege if it was indeed a liver transplant you had. I thought "hmmm I never did ask what kind of transplant it was." 🤣

On a serious note im glad your remaining positive. Im sure it feels like "great, now what is wrong" but, im hopeful they will get it sorted out soon. Keep up being strong mentally, it truly helps to keep strong physically. My thoughts are with you brother!

Thank you. To You and everyone who contributes to this site.you don’t post to receive warm replies like yours but thank you anyway although we haven’t met.they surprisingly mean a lot.i had a dbd liver transplant 60 days ago.and other than teething problems if you like.i feel so blessed and actually feel great.ive mentioned before in other posts how looking on the bright side gets people through most things which was key for me as we all know what living with cirrosis is like.best wishes Phoenix.paul

Oh yeah Paul, hope you get it sorted out soon, you've been through enough!

Hi Popel,

Sorry to hear that things haven't settled in for you. Sending only the very best wishes that things start working better soon.

So how is it that "the wonderful countess of Chester" is no lady? Something to ponder on.

Best wishes,

Mary

Hi. I had a tp in March. I also had a bit of a rough time after the tp, understatement, but seems alright now. Keep positive my friend, a good frame of mind goes a long way

I wish you all the best and hope this issue is resolved soon for you.

Look after yourself, Gamer.

Popel, we all have to keep our good humour in the face of all we face with this awful disease. My default state is Happy, but sometimes HE makes me a bit tetchy.

I hope and pray they can fix your problem quickly, so you can get on with your Tx recovery.

David😊😊
