Today is 1year since I was given my special gift and what a gift,it’s been a tough year for sure but this day means so much, goes without saying that it’s also a very sad day for the family of my wonderful donor but the best thing I can do for them is to look after and cherish what their loved one has donated to me.
To all you on here who have just had or are waiting for your gift hang on in there it does get better and I wish you all the very best.
I was unwell for 5 years, on the list for 17 months and now a year on am marrying the amazing lady that has been my rock WOW

It’s a wonderful reminder to stay or become as healthy as we can so we treasure and appreciate life everyday 🙏🏽
Well done. Yes, these days are always a time for reflection and to celebrate the new chapter in your tapestry of life. An congratulations on your forth coming marriage. She sounds a wonderful lady, with a caring heart. most defiantly a keeper.
Congratulations and best wishes! As for mixed feelings of sadness for your donor's family, consider that you are truly honoring their loved one by using their gift to keep loving and living. May you both have many more blessings 😍
Hope your call comes soon it can be hard waiting my advice would be to try and carry on with life (illness permitting)as much as possible as it can be a long wait, I like many others know how you both will be feeling
I still get sore I’ve recently had a heavy cold and my stomach is very sore from coughing & sneezing but hey we’ve got to expect certain pains considering what’s been done.
Congratulations to you also and may your recovery go as well as mine
