Has any one post tx still have problems with there stomach muscles where wound is. If I do anything even abit strenuous I am in pain for weeks last time I jarred myself getting down from a high step I'm in so much pain I'm 5 months post.

No, I don't remember those kind of pains after 5 months. I do know that even now if I catch my scar on a door handle or whatever it feels really nasty.

Perhaps you need to mention it to the GP

Hi yes I still get wound pain 6 months on. I have to sit for a while until it subsides. I have a general ache around the wound & occasionally a sharp pain, especially if I have tried to do too much. Apparently this could be due to tissue adhesions ( basically internal scaring) 'letting go'.

Presume these will go with time but I guess it varies from person to person.

I have right side pain where incision is asked specialist today he thought it could be adhesions but did check for hernia where wound is but I was ok. Check with Dr re hernia just in case xx

I went to hospital yesterday luckily no hernia. They don't know what it is lol whatever it is I hope in time it gets better with time x

We forget that internal healing does take a lot longer than the outside, and because it looks fine we feel we can do whatever we want but no rush hunni and take it easy we been through enough xxx
