To anyone who has suffered with jaundice I would like your input. Did your

jaundice appear darker on your face and under your arms? Were the palms

of your hands jaundiced or not?

I am mainly jaundiced around my eyes and the whites of my eyes, I have noticed it on the back of my hands and my palms too. However I'm fairly olive skinned so it's difficult to notice sometimes. Also, mine at least tends to be more visible in natural daylight.

for my Mrs it was complete, and was always has a hint of lemon on the temples.

but i looked on her scalp to see the true color as it does not see daylight,

it is only a cosmetic side effect of a very wonky liver.

I don't think jaundice itself is dodgy BUT it is a sign of potentially bad stuff

I have yellowy eyes....and sometimes arms; but I also have quite olive skin so it can be difficult to notice (or in fact I am quite pale and jaundice more than I thought...). When I have exercised you can definitely see the yellow!

Yes i appeared to show signs of Jaundice last year, noticed whites of my eyes had a yellow tinge and my Pee was also very yellow no matter what time of day, had some blood work done, Dr was concerned and thought i may need to change my medications i take regularly for my Mental Health, i was also sent for a Ultra sound Scan (as i had been experiencing severe stomach pains) found stones in my Gall Bladder, was then sent for a MRI scan and they confirmed my Gall Bladder full of stones, as was my Bile Duct. I removed a lot of fatty foods out of my diet esp saturated fats, this was before scans and the Jaundice seemed to subside, and the blood tests after showed a reduction within normal range, my Cholesterol is fine. Had stones taken out of my Bile Duct , that has reduced severity of pain and frequency of attacks. I still Have to have Gall bladder out which was due to have been done last October i had to cancel as mentally i was not ready.

The longer I have it the harder I find it to see it myself, unless there is a photo, I can see it in my eyes, I tend to find it's worst upper torso, head area. For me it ends up as a kind of undercoat, my boss thought I had a good tan!

At the moment I'm an odd light yellow/greenish but can be grey thanks to anemia.
