I was diagnoised with an enlarged liver. Now I start down the path many of you have gone down looking for a diagnoises. The ultra sound did not show anything else sinister like obvious tumors.
i suspect they will want a ctand MRI next? Needless to say we are very worried.
You may have to undergo MRI and Liver function test followed by Liver Biopsy
Fibroscan would be before liver biopsy
Thank you to you both. Good to know what to expect. I think you mind goes to cancer first. Has anyone had an enlarged liver and it went away? Can it be something other than super seriou? Sorry just very anxious
Can't really say without more information. If you'be been a heavy drinker for a long time then you may be looking at something serious outside of that it would require blood work to know
I have liver diease & adomas, my liver is enlarged alot of my bloods are normal some aren"t

I know this post is old but I recently had a scan and my liver is enlarged but bloods are coming back as normal. Could you help me with telling me your experience please. Very worried too
