Hi grace it will be. Three weeks on Monday since my operation and I am feeling so much better. I have been out a few times but I am only out for an hour then I find I am ready to go home. I am learning to be patient with myself as I am patient with everyone else I suppose really it's all part of learning. I am looking forward to doing more but this has been a learning curve for me so I am going to change how I do things in the future. I hope that you are keeping well and I want you to know what a great support you have been to me. I look on you as a good friend which I value. The group have been so supportive as well I have been so grateful to have had this support from the group as we have all walked the same road and so we have that insight of doing so. Take care and I will keep you updated.xx

its great that your recovering so quickly and feeling much better as those gallstones are one big problem and cause so much pain. yes i am trying to be patient with myself too and more gentle on myself. im glad that we have all been a good support to you. its a good feeling to know that people have been there before us and can share their experience and wisdom with us. i needed that too. we all do. i hope that things continue to go well for you dawning. im feeling okay i have my good and bad days. im taking it easy today also yesterday i stayed indoors. im just about to have a bowl of lentil soup. homemade. I was watching that programe of diabetics changing thier diet and were able to stop their medication all together i thought that was fantastic it just goes to show that if we eat the right food what a help that is to our bodies. did you see that programme? keep in touch. sending much love. grace xoxoxo 🤗❤️

Hi grace I saw that programme it was very interesting and good advice. I have been making homemade soup s as well. I find them much more nourishing and healthy as compared to tinned soups which i wasn't that fussy about. I feel better for making my healthy meals. I will catch up with you soon. Take care xx

Hi grace hope you are well . I haven't been in contact lately as just taking each day as it presents itself to me. As you are aware some days are better than others but I would imagine it's best to enjoy every day. I haven't worked out how to put my photo on yet but I'm working on it. I'm keeping myself busy in the run up to Christmas. Take care. Xx

hi there dawning. lovely to hear from you. yes this is the time when we have to make sure that we have all our medicines in and dont run out of any medications. mind you the places dont shut for long now a days do they. i mean the supermarket and all the shops are open on boxing day and even the doctors dont shut for that long but its still best to be sure we have everything we need before those holidays start. im pleased to hear that your keeping busy hopefull that means that your keeping quite well. as you say each day is different and brings its own surprises. it was nice of you to get in touch and say hello again. im making chicken soup at the moment i make a huge pot and freeze some as its very handy to have on the days when i dont feel like cooking, speak soon dawning thanks again for dropping by keep well darling. love grace xoxoxo❤️

Hi grace thank-you so much for the link the web chat information was so helpful. I was going to start back exercising at the jym in February 2017 . Hopefully I will be able to I will have to see how it goes given that it can take up to 12months for the internal muscles to heal. I am recovering steadily however I just got over an awful cough which lasted 2 weeks. I am now catching up on sorting out paperwork and other things that I have let slip over the last few months. It's like we don't realise how much we do on a daily basis until we stop doing it so I'm playing catch-up. I do find that I have to take rest breaks and if I'm moving things and stretching I do get sore around my diaphragm so then I have to sit down think it's just my body telling me to rest and not to do to much as that is part of my personality im always busy. My needs have Changed now so I have to keep reminding myself of that. I am happy though and I'm hoping to be more active in the future. I'm very thankful for your friendship and to you for your time and consideration and support. I hope that things are going well with you. Take care and good wishes for today and everyday. Xx

aww thanks dawning im glad i could help. yes that was what i asked as iv been doing far to much and getting very sore but i had a 5 hour operation and things are shifted around now, for example my bile duct is now connected to my jujenum which is the lower intestine so i have many injured muscles as well as a hernia. also the bile duct was reconstructed. however your right to be very careful as a year is a while isnt it. i did not realize that.no wonder i'v not been very well. as i do the new york city ballet dvd and i can tell you its a very powerful lot of exercises. so now im going to stick to light yoga i know there are many strong yoga exercises but i know the ones i can do with very light stretching as light stretching is good as it helps to stop scar tissue setting in for good if you know what i mean, after i had the hysterectomy 44 years ago i did a lot of exercise and rubbed oil on my scar to keep the blood running into it. iv always been a very physical person. i mean you can still go to the gym and take it quite easy im going to go to the gym as im short on stamina, i do lots of arm exercises with very light weights as i could not carry my shopping, now i can carry to bags.i need to walk on the treadmil as walking outside is hurtning my hips and joints whereas on the treadmill its moving and that takes all the strain of or most of it of the joints and legs yet still build stamina. im glad that i managed to get those questions and answers as i learned a lot myself. im glad that youv got over that cough as its so annoying isnt it. its the change in the weather we have to remember to wrap up warm. lots of people will be feeling this a the cold weather can cause flare ups in a lot of people. yes i will have to remind myself that my needs have changed to. iv got my sewing machine out and im on utube learning all about my machine and getting some sewing lessons. i love utube its amazing. keep well dawning. i'v got a visitor i just wanted to reply to you. thanks for your friendship to. all my love grace xoxoxo🌹
