Today is going to be very long and stressful. Being on the table is easy ! The wating is hard. Try to keep occupied and the time will fly by. Easy to say, but don't worry and have positive thoughts. Know that there are people on here who have been there, Jim had his very successful transplant only 11 weeks ago.

Good luck! We waited 14 hours for actual yes it's ok to proceed after getting to the hospital. Then I was taken straight into theatre for nine hours. It can be a very long day. Cheering you on!

Hi Chris, I'd been wondering how things are with you all. Hope everything goes well. Just got back from QE myself for the clinic visit and saw Mr Perera who was about to go into theatre at about 12:00. He's great but whoever is his surgeon, they are all excellent.

Fingers crossed for you all Chris.

Please let us know how he gets on.
