Hi my hubby got a call at 3.15am Thursday morning to make his way the the QE as there was a possible liver for him. After getting him ready for the op at 10 o'clock the coordinator came to tell us the liver wasn't good enough for him as he needs a really good liver due to all his other illnesses.
Hope we don't wait to long again.
Thanks to the donor and there family hope they helped some one else thinking of them as well xx

It must be difficult for you to have to wait again but I'm sure that another opportunity will happen soon. It must be hard on the donors family to have to make that decision but a lot of others will have their lives changed thanks to their unselfishness. Take care. Deb
Hi not sure how many calls you have had but it was the fourth until my wife got one, you will get there and it will happen just try and relax and let time take its course

Yes on the third call back my husband got his transplant he is now 8 weeks post and doing really well. Hope you are doing good x

My husband has his in the QE on the 4th September, do you go to clinic there still we go on a Monday we are on fortnightly visits now X
