😍😍 New shoes day! 😍😍

Is there anything better than getting a new pair of trainers? I’ve noticed my favourite pair are seriously worn now and needed replacing. Brooks suit my feet well so I thought I’d give the Glycerin GTS a go. I’m looking forward to getting them dirty, but I’m enjoying how pretty they are right now!!

Hopefully these will put a spring in my step this spring!

I took a look at the photo and my first thought was that for me the stack height would make me feel like I was running on stilts. πŸ€£πŸ‘£

🀣I can totally get why your mind went there!! They feel really comfy on and not too different to the Hyperion tempo max I’ve done most of my long runs in. I’ll report back on whether any circus style stilt-running was required when I’ve taken them out for a spin!!

Enjoy! I'm loving my Glycerin 21s, they seem to last forever and are so comfortable.

Envy abounds.

Hope the weather stays dry for a while so they look like that for a good number of runs.

Thank you!! I’m in between sizes in Mizuno shoes. It’s a shame because there are lots of pretty ones!

That IS a shame. They are like running with great big bath sponges strapped to your feet, so cushioned! I have to wear one and a half sizes up in Mizunos.

I love the idea of bouncy sponges!! My Brooks are all 1.5 sizes up from my regular shoes The mizunos I tried were a bit small one size up and a bit big 1.5 size up. Maybe I’ll try again. Perhaps it was the particular style.

They say you need a bit of room, too small is definitely worse than too big, you can always adjust the laces to stop the shoes moving around.

Brooks are good too, in a different way. I find them very stable and supportive.

Just trying to decide which to wear for my race on Sunday - cushioned or stable? Probably the cushion!

I bought my umpteenth pair of Brooks Adrenaline yesterday! The 12 mm heel drop really works for me.

That said, I have been running through the winter mire in Brooks Cascadia trail shoes. I use heel caps to bring the heel drop up to 10mm. They have felt really good too. Just a question of finding what works.
