...the idea was to be on Week 6 by now🙃
Anyway, this morning I just wasn't feeling it. It wasn't actually too bad outside, just grey and gloomy, rather than grey, wet and gloomy. Mr Y didn't do his usual encouragement so I made breakfast. As I ate I realised I felt like I was missing out a bit so decided that Week 4 of the Magic Plan's 20 minute run would be the compromise I needed.
Got on with some work for an hour or two, sitting in my dressing gown, to allow time to digest my breakfast, the perks of working from home! Also a reminder that I had something I needed to do before my shower. It worked, and just after 11.30 I was out the door.
Definitely needed the boost of a guided run so found 'Believe in the Run', 20 minutes with Coach Taylor. I haven't run with her before but was impressed with her approach.
Soundtrack was from BBC's Pacesetter, rock and indie. This is a great playlist but expires tomorrow so I spent a bit more time fiddling with it than I should have, skipping tracks I didn't like so I could listen to the ones I do - Sweet Dreams, You Really Got Me, Holding Out for a Hero, Whip It. As I approached the end of the run it was Anarchy in the UK. Couldn't resist a singalong, goodness knows what anyone watching would have thought about a chubby little granny running slowly along the waterfront singing 'I wanna beeeee Anarcheeeeee'
Oh I felt so much better afterwards, a couple more km run and all the cobwebs blown away!
