Argggh. Back on the IC

I went out on Friday for my usual little run and after a good 15 minutes of easy running I felt a sharp pain in my ankle through to my heel. I didn’t go over on my ankle in any way but just felt this pain. I rested yesterday but did go for a little walk of about a mile and my ankle felt ok. BUT this morning my ankle is sore it’s not bruised to look at but feels it and I don’t think it’s swollen but it’s definitely painful 😥. So I think I will need to rest it and ice it for a few days 😥😥

Ouch! Maybe you pulled a tendon or something? If it isn't better after a few days rest best to see your GP or a physio. Please don't just suffer Get well soon!

Thank you. I will see how it goes then try private physio as I can’t see the dr being very interested and will just refer for NHS physio which has very long waiting list

It's money well spent if it gets you pain free quicker

Oh no!! Scruff!!! The Christmas present nobody wants. I hope it’s a short stay on the IC. Hopefully it’ll settle or you can get some expert advice on what to do. Hugs!

Ugh...!!! Lots of room here on the IC.

I agree with your plan for a private physio. I have done the same with my stress fracture and he's been great.

Hopefully it will resolve itself with a little rest, ice, and elevation...

Thank you. Plump up the cushions. I’m going to rest for this week and see how it goes. It certainly feels better today so 🤞it continues over the next few days.
