I'm getting back to fitness

I finally saw a physio last week about my poorly ankle. He said I've got a 'ankle high strain injury'. Told me to get some more supportive shoes, and gave me some exercises. I've bought my first pair of Skechers trainers. Wow. The difference. Bought on Fri and they feel brilliant. I will be back running/jogging v soon.

Such a good idea to get a proper diagnosis. Stick to the exercises, they can work wonders.Dunno about you but I like seeing a medical professional who tells me to buy new shoes 😁

🍏 It’s brilliant when you find trainers you absolutely love & feel sooo comfy! So important too! Xx

I wish I’d done this with my favourite pair (which are now sold out everywhere in my size!). Nice one!!! Wishing you many happy miles together!

Lol. I retrospectively always regret not having bought a second pair, but have never done. And shoe versions change, so it’s sometimes not even possible to rely on one brand and shoeline, as versions change some aspects.

Thanks everyone. I got sent an offer from the store I bought my Skechers, so I bought a second pair! I've got lace up ones.and slip ons now, every time I wear them, all I say is, oh wow, amazing! I'm going to get back to my fitness now, even walking a parkrun soon I hope.
