Hello, I'm new to the group and have just reached week 9 of c25k for the first time in years!12 years ago I was doing triathlons, albeit it very very slowly (I am not a fast moving person). I stopped when I moved to a different town 9 years ago but occasionally dipped in and out of running in the following years - only ever for deadlines and races though. This year I've been just running for me and have been building up slowly and carefully after I stopped for three months for a knee injury. I've just had another break for two weeks due to holiday and dentistry, and am back to finish. I don't want to stop again when I don't have c25k to aim for, so I hope being here and saying to strangers that I will finish - and then I will keep going! - will make sure I do that

Welcome and congratulations for everything you’ve already achieved. I think you’ve got lots of things to celebrate up ahead too! Enjoy the final runs of couch to 5k and just jump in here when you’re ready. It’s a friendly bunch of runners here with all sorts of experience and goals. You’ll fit right in!

Im a C25k serial repeater just redoing wk 1 again so I’m in awe of you having done triathlons. It’s just great getting out there, even in not so good weather. Stick at it and on this site you are not among strangers but with your running friends!
